I will reprising my award winning role as Duane Stanley in Our Country!!! Our Country has been invited to participate in this year’s NYMF festival! A rough musical improv i did the other day. enjoying the process of creation :)
One of the first songs I wrote back in high school. It was inspired by Gustave Flaubert’s great novel Madame Bovary. After our tragic heroine ingests arsenic, the story basically ends. I, however, imagined what that would feel like for her loving husband Charles. This piece was my high school interpretation of what Charles was feeling. Hope you enjoy!
In the beginning, or circa 1994 ish , I played each and every Phantasy Star game for Sega Genesis and Final Fantasy for Snes. When I wasn’t playing the hottest role playing game release for my 16-bit systems I was singing my face off or playing the latest musical theater hit on my piano or my tape deck. There’s magic in both. And now, I’m gonna share my thoughts and dreams here on Tumblr of all that magic and more.
